Goal

This week’s assignment is about adding a output device to a microcontroller board I have designed and program it to do Something.

Introduction

Invention is making something new for the first time whether it be a device or a process, but invention on its own is never enough. There can be many examples of inventions, but if all those inventions would have been only kept aside after inventing by anybody then we would not have known about those and even wouldn't have been so developed what we are now. So basically after invention Commercialization is the most important key to bring it in front of the world, that is what completes the whole process of Innovation (Invention & Commercialization).

Invention:

Pineapple Desheller, before taking this product as my final project I did some basic field/ground study about the cutting and deshelling of the pineapples in various places like road side vendors, some industries which uses pineapple for making juices and other purposes, etc. But none of the places where having any automated process of deshelling and cutting of pineapple, which seams a tedious job. So, as concern to invention I think this will be a whole new product for such a purpose, rest there is no such inventions in the things and components which I am going to use in this. I hope this project will ignite a revolution in the food industries and being development in this field.

Intellectual Property:

License means giving permission.

While going through on google about Licensing and Grants I came across a site "Choose a License" which can be really helpful for people looking for licensing and here one can easily go through. I am going to license my Project in Creative Commons.

Creative Commons:

It is a Non-Profit Organization based out of America which helps us to legally distribute and give our work to the public. For creating the license there are different content creators to choose. CC is most common term used in licensing creative content and is usually seen around the web in many places. CC licenses is known as "some rights reserved" just similar to "all rights reserved" of copy right. Different types of CC content creator are shown below:

So for Creating the License I went to the Creative Commons site and started the licensing process. In my license I am going to allow others to modify my work and developing on it while giving me due credits, and to use my work for commercial purpose. I am licensing these in this form because I want this concept to grow and it's something which I want people out to explore more. It can also be used for commercial purpose as its the whole point of it. The whole process of licensing the project in creative commons is shown below:

Income

Motivation:

My project mostly lies in Food and Agriculture domain, and I have never seen any machine for peeling or deshelling the pineapple's anywhere. All those things I have also explained in my first week assignment also. This is what motivated me to do this project and may be in future some advancement can also be done on this for various purposes.

Sources:

Income from this can be generated from selling this at low cost to different road side vendors, to various industries producing juice, and can be sold as a house hold product for easy and smooth deshelling for different purposes like eating, making juice, etc. In Industries this would be a huge this if it can be made for mass deshelling purpose, and most of the income could be generated from those industrial application only.
